     Congratulations to the successful release of the group standard "Laboratory Fume Hood" of Shanghai Laboratory Equipment Association!

 


     In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Shanghai Laboratory Equipment Association Group Standard Management Measures" , after deliberation and approval by the Council of the Association and the Board of Supervisors, on January 9, 2023, the Shanghai Laboratory Equipment Association Group Standard T/SLEA0011-2023 "Exhaust Air for Laboratory "Cabinet" was successfully released and will come into force on February 8, 2023 .

 


     In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China , implement the task deployment of the "National Standardization Development Outline" , coordinate and optimize the construction of the standard system in the laboratory field, continue to develop key standards, continuously strengthen the implementation and application of standards, and use standards to help laboratory special equipment products, The laboratory process involves the construction of quality and safety systems in terms of system integration, laboratory acceptance and calibration, etc. , strengthens the promotion and application of standards, improves the standardization development level of the industry, and promotes the high-quality development of the industry.

 


     On January 11 and February 18, 2023 , the Shanghai Laboratory Equipment Association held group standard publicity meetings respectively. Highlights and the basis for determining the main content were shared in detail.

 


     During the sharing, we learned that this standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging and transportation of laboratory fume hoods . For manufacturers, third-party testing agencies, and users to better understand and master the technical requirements and experimental methods related to fume hoods, the working ideas will be clarified, and the difficulties and confusion will be solved . The laboratory fume hood preparation team is developing from the plane to the three-dimensional, and from the three-dimensional to the multi-dimensional direction. Based on the principle of market universality and advancement, it will lay a solid foundation for the standardized development of laboratory fume hood products in the future.

 


     At present, group standards will play a vital role in market development and application. The innovation and advancement of technical indicators in their content will promote the improvement of domestic production technology level and service quality.
